Mr Henry Muzikayise Selby Msimang

Law Mr Msimang is an accomplished Attorney in the High Court of South Africa admitted on the 9th June, 1987. He has been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.

Born in Alexandra/Sandton he matriculated in 1978. His academic achievements are as follow:

  • Bachelor of Procurators - University of the North
  • Bachelor of Laws - University of Witwatersrand
  • Master of Laws - University of Pretoria (Human Rights and Constitutional Practice)
  • Master of Law - University of Stellenbosch (International Business Transactions)

In 1988 Muzikayise Msimang in partnership with George Maluleke founded the law firm Maluleke Msimang and Associates where he is still a Director.

Muzikayise Msimang wore several hats in the service of his fellowmen as a Council Member of the Law Society of the Northern Province from 1998 to 2007. He also served as the President during 2004 to 2005.

He is a member of the Black Lawyers Association which he served in various capacities including being the Chairperson of the Gauteng Branch. He served as National President of the Black Lawyers Association in 2005 to 2007.

He has also served, amongst others, in the following capacity:

  • 2002 - Convener of the Attorneys Admission Examination to date.
  • 2002 - 2006 Chairperson of the Independent Trust by the Cabinet of the Republic of South Africa.
  • 2003 - Council of the Law Society of South Africa to date.
  • 2007 - 2008 Co-Chairperson of the Law Society of South Africa.
  • 2004 - 2006 appointed by the President to serve as a part-time Commissioner in the International Trade Commission of South Africa.
  • 2006 - Member of the Enforcement Committee established in terms of Section 97 of the Securities Services Act, 36 of 2004 and continues to be a member.

Mr Ignatius Clement Mikateko Shirilele

Mr Shirilele was admitted in 1990 and specializes in Commercial Litigation and Insurance Litigation.

AREAS OF EXPERIENCE

Mr Shirilele has twelve years experience in litigation initially in the criminal law environment and generally in personal injuries and commercial law environment. He is a member of the examinations panel for the admission of Attorneys under Practical Legal School. He is part-time tutor at the Practical Legal School.

  6. Siemens Advisor to Concessionary in the purchase of the IDC Stake in Siemens.
  7. Armscor Advisor to Armscor in various transactions and as Joint Advisor on counter trade in the R30 billion Arms package.
  8. Land Claims Lead investigator for Gauteng Department of Housing and Land claim investigations for Alexandra and Page view.

Ms Puleng Magdeline Keetse

Ms Keetse has served articles of Clerkship with this firm and she was thereafter appointed a Professional Assistant. Ms Keetse specialises in the area of personal injury claims and she does work for the Road Accident Fund as an Attorney for the Defendant. She is also involved in General Commercial Litigation and acts for Telkom SA Limited in various litigious matters. Her expertise also lie in the area of family law practice which involves advising clients on the appropriate matrimonial regimes to choose in concluding marriages, and assisting clients with divorce proceedings and settlement negotiations.
